Background: Sexual abuse of children is a growing social concern, with online communication significantly facilitating access to vulnerable and increasing the risk sexual abuse, particularly on platforms. Objectives: This study aimed analyze experiences, underlying factors, consequences, preventive strategies from perspectives subject-matter experts. Methods: qualitative grounded theory was conducted in 2023 Birjand, South Khorasan Province, Iran. The participants included 15 specialists sex education who were selected through purposive sampling. Data collected in-depth semi-structured interviews until data saturation achieved analyzed using Corbin Strauss’s method. Results: analysis approach revealed five main categories, ten axial codes, 41 open codes: (1) Easy high-risk cyberspace, (2) failure understand potential risks cyberspace (e.g., unsupervised content production parents' preoccupation personal concerns), (3) immaturity interactions hidden shame fear discussing issues, ineffective parent-child communication), (4) harms psycho-social harm early awakening), (5) awareness clarification as keys support raising parental awareness, providing education, seeking professional counseling support). Conclusions: Knowledge about child Iran limited. findings this provide valuable insights that can contribute development effective for preventing adolescents.
