Abstract The aim of the present study was to enhance water‐based coating technologies by using additives. physical and chemical properties a organic were improved incorporating coconut oil, cocoa butter, chia seed, titanium dioxide into coating. For experiments this study, Design Expert Box–Behnken method applied selecting three levels four parameters. optimal experiment selected, reference samples analyzed. Based contact angle analysis results, sample measured be 65.20°, while optimum 87.4°. According TG‐DTA, exhibited mass loss 37.7. It observed that coatings had degradation temperature ~408°C. As result analyzes, it enhanced increased mechanical strength, preserved combustion characteristics.
