Abstract This research was conducted to determine the effect of bacterial strains isolated from different sources on development melon plants. Plant growth promotion mechanisms such as calcium, potassium and phosphorus solubilization, nitrogen fixation, phytohormone, siderophore ACC-deaminase production their at pH salt concentrations were determined. In order plant growth, field trials established according randomized blocks experimental design with three replicates carried out two years repetition. experiment for this purpose, 11 applications [IT 22 (Bacillus safensis), IT + Fertilizer, 63 (Acinetobacter calcoaceticus), 93 115 (Serratia rubidaea), Fertilizer control (fertilizer only)] included. terms all parameters examined, best result obtained Mix application, while only highest value WSDM (9.9%) measured in application. The results study show that fertilizer-free provide higher yield than fertilizer, suggesting single or mixed can be used a very effective method reduce use chemical fertilizers. addition, fruit per decare where bacteria fertilizer applied together, except compared group. an indication significant reduction will achieved inclusion determined fertilization programs.
