Background/Objectives: General Self-Efficacy (GSE) refers to an individual’s belief in their overall ability perform effectively across various situations. Research shows that GSE is a key predictor of multiple outcomes, including psychological resilience, better health, and improved well-being different populations environments. Numerous tools have been developed measure GSE, enhancing our understanding self-efficacy its broader implications. This study aimed evaluate the psychometric properties Italian version New Scale (NGSES) community sample adults recruited through social media platforms. Methods: The NGSES was adapted into following back-translation procedure. A total 811 participants (mean = 43.18; 68.8% females) completed scale. confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) used examine factorial structure questionnaire. Adjusted item-total correlations internal consistency were assessed using McDonald’s omega. Additionally, multi-group CFA test invariance gender. Results: trimmed model exhibited strong fit data: RMSEA 0.068, CFI 0.994, SRMR 0.043. An omega coefficient 0.872 confirmed scale’s reliability. Convergent validity established by moderate significant correlation with NGSES. Configural, metric, scalar, latent means genders all confirmed. Conclusions: found be valid reliable tool, suitable for both clinical research applications context. It can also inform development educational therapeutic interventions at general population.
