Abstract
Achilles
tendon
injuries,
as
a
widely
existing
disease,
have
attracted
lot
of
research
interest.
Mueller
matrix
polarimetry,
novel
label-free
quantitative
imaging
method,
has
been
used
in
various
applications
lesion
identification
and
pathological
diagnosis.
However,
focusing
on
the
recovery
process
current
optical
methods
not
yet
achieved
precise
evaluation.
In
this
study,
using
injury
samples
were
characterized
specifically,
efficacy
different
schemes
was
evaluated
accordingly.
Experiments
indicate
that
injured
tendons
show
less
phase
retardance,
larger
diattenuation,
relatively
disordered
orientation.
The
combination
experiments
with
Monte
Carlo
simulation
results
illustrate
microscopic
mechanism
from
three
aspects,
is,
increased
fiber
diameter,
more
consistent
orientation,
greater
birefringence
induced
by
collagen
protein.
Finally,
based
statistical
distribution
polarization
measurements,
specific
characterization
parameter
extracted
to
construct
image,
which
cannot
only
intuitively
samples,
but
also
give
evaluation
treatment.

Local
anaesthetics
(LAs)
can
have
detrimental
effects
on
rat,
bovine,
canine,
and
human
tendon
tissues
cells.
Currently,
there
has
been
no
available
data
the
impact
of
these
drugs
equine
tenocytes.
Even
if
LA
injection
for
managing
painful
conditions
in
horses
is
limited,
it
usually
used
via
intra-articular,
intrasynovial,
perineural,
intrathecal
as
well
lameness
examinations.
In
this
vitro
study,
cytotoxic
LAs,
including
lidocaine,
mepivacaine,
bupivacaine
tenocytes,

platelet
rich
plasma
(PRP),

investigated.
PRP
