Fire emergencies pose significant risks to occupants in high-rise buildings, particularly individuals with functional limitations who struggle conventional evacuation facilities like stairs. The objective of the study was survey current literature identify safe fire solutions for functionally limited groups. A systematic analysis 156 journal articles (2000–2024) conducted factors affecting evacuation, and their impact on efficiency. findings were categorized into four main types: (1) human behavior during emergencies, (2) architectural environmental factors, (3) smoke risk calculation control, (4) models tools. Additionally, our highlight research disabilities, including methods, building design, models, elevator operation strategies. concludes recommendations future address identified gaps. This underscores need further expanding different (e.g., earthquakes), addressing special environments hospitals), leveraging digital technologies improve processes vulnerable populations. Future efforts will focus incorporating rescuers rescue methodologies framework enhance safety protection

ABSTRACT Human factors methods, as a systems discipline, can be applied across various areas of working systems. Risk assessment methods are particularly useful for identifying risks that may impact the performance overall systems, groups, and individuals. The emergency evacuation process in hospitals involves multiple significantly affect its performance. This study thinking‐based risk method to identify associated with hospital evacuations. Networked Hazard Analysis Management System (Net‐HARMS) was utilized all credible during emergencies could degrade optimal Some key identified included delays assessing procedures, failures or forming appointing an command team, inadequate intra‐ interorganizational coordination. Additionally, emerging were identified, such due staff lacking sufficient information about incident team members, well receiving assistance from external organizations like fire department Red Crescent coordination processes. These arose interactions between activities. concludes Net‐HARMS is effective forecasting systemic emergent process, specific activities this critical process.

Advancements in 3D modelling technology have facilitated more immersive and efficient solutions spatial planning user-centred design. In healthcare systems, is beneficial various applications, such as emergency evacuation, pathfinding, localization. These models support the fast of evacuation routes, ensuring safety patients, staff, visitors, guiding them cases emergency. To improve urban planning, representation analysis are used. Considering advantages modelling, this study proposes a framework for indoor navigation employs multiphase methodology to enhance user experience. Our approach combines state-of-the art GIS with hybrid model. The proposed incorporates federated learning (FL) along edge computing Internet Things (IoT) devices achieve accurate floor-level localization navigation. first phase methodology, Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) software was used create model building’s architectural details, which required during evacuations systems. second phase, an FL-based recurrent neural network (RNN) technique were utilized real-time positioning. This method resulted highly precise outcomes, attaining accuracy rate over 99% at distances no less than 10 metres. Continuous monitoring effective pathfinding ensure that users can navigate safely effectively emergencies. IoT connected Phase 3. As per performed analysis, it observed provided 98.7% routing between different locations situations. By improving safety, building accessibility, energy efficiency, research addresses health environmental impacts modern technologies.
