Retinopathy
of
prematurity
(ROP),

mechanisms
unclear.
In
this
study,
we
initially
found
expressed
mouse
physiological
vascular
development
significantly
decreased
phase
followed
increase
oxygen-induced
retinopathy
(OIR)
model.
Early
upregulation
before
attenuates
vaso-obliteration,
reduces
promotes
maturation.
Additionally,
increased
number
microglia
around
blood
vessels
induced
anti-inflammatory
M2
polarization.
Furthermore,
STAT6/TGF-β
signaling
pathway
suppressed
was
activated
after
upregulation.
conclusion,
attenuated
inhibited
switching
polarization
from
M1
to
phenotype
via
OIR.
This
suggests
could
be
novel
target
for
early
treatment
ROP.
