Utilizing Gnomio in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET): Challenges and Opportunities DOI Creative Commons

Abstract: This study probes into the effectiveness and challenges of Gnomio, an eLearning platform, in enhancing TVET programs under a hybrid education delivery framework. It was conducted at School for Academics Industrial Technology, Inc., which is TESDA-accredited training assessment center located Rosario, Batangas, Philippines, with mixed-method approach, involving 163 participants that were students instructors. Findings show 91.4 percent respondents considered Gnomio "very effective", while 8.6 thought it "effective." Features most used included course management 58.3%, followed by tools 38.7%, two least features collaboration 1.8% resource sharing 1.2%. Connectivity problems, reported 91.4%, commonly recorded problem, lack on how to use platform 8.6%. The effect-size analysis showed no significant difference perception between instructors, indicating generally positive reception. Descriptive statistics strong agreement Gnomio's engagement, feedback, accessibility but varied responses regarding motivation satisfaction. calls policy reforms technical reliability, expanding programs, improving feature view furthering potential impact learning ensuring quality vocational education.

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has further highlighted the importance of digital transformation educational organizations. effects this process are not limited to classroom level but extend into various areas school, such as Equipment and Technology , Strategy Leadership Organization Employees Culture . Against background, we assessed status quo in Swiss vocational schools from perspective both school management members teachers. For endeavor, two surveys were conducted: first one period November 2019 January 2020 (school members) second between June September (teachers). In total, 202 1,739 teachers 62 participated study. results analyses indicate that digitization-related dimensions well Pedagogical IT Support perceived better by members, whereas considered Digital Competencies Attitudes be more advanced. This purpose of the study was determining students' attitudes toward use flipbook as English reading media. The teacher met problem to accelerate student’s skills because uninteresting, difficult lesson.
