Background
In
recent
years,
with
the
development
of
society,
children's
daily
exposure
to
screen
time
has
gradually
increased.
Screen
and
sedentary
behavior
have
brought
a
host
harms
lives.
The
aim
this
study
was
explore
effects
on
precocious
puberty
early
development.
Methods
This
is
cross-sectional
in
school-based
population.
A
total
3,560
children
were
recruited
from
Qufu
City,
Shandong
province
using
multistage
stratified
cluster
random
sampling.
All
subjects
had
physical
examination
by
professional
pediatricians
October
2019,
investigated
health
questionnaires.
Precocious
defined
as
secondary
sexual
signs
boys
before
9
years
or
girls

years.

In
light
of
the
recent
evidence
suggesting
an
increase
in
idiopathic
central
precocious
puberty
(ICPP)
during
COVID-19
pandemic,
this
study
aimed
to
assess
incidence
newly
diagnosed
ICPP
cases
and
compare
differences
demographic,
anthropometric,
clinical
characteristics
pre-pandemic
pandemic.

conducted
a
retrospective

national
reference
pediatric
endocrinology
