Chronic inflammation is increasingly recognized as a critical factor in female reproductive health; influencing natural conception and the outcomes of assisted technologies such vitro fertilization (IVF). An essential component innate immunity, NLR family pyrin domain-containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome one major mediators inflammatory responses, its activation closely linked to oxidative stress. This interaction contributes decline oocyte quality, reduced potential, impaired embryo development. In ovarian milieu, stress NLRP3 interact intricately, their combined effects on competence are significant. The aims this review examine these molecular mechanisms explore therapeutic strategies targeting activity, with goal enhancing fertility improving clinical health.

An investigation of the mtDNA haplogroup in 96 Taiwanese women with diminished ovarian response (DOR) and normal (NOR) showed that only R is less likely to experience DOR than other haplogroups. When analyzing relationship between age mitochondria-related markers (mtDNA copy number, ROS levels, telomere length), it was observed levels length exhibited age-dependent changes, number retrieved oocytes decreased age. However, haplogroup, these remained stable did not show significant changes Additionally, decline age, suggesting a unique protective effect associated this haplogroup. Our study supports notion may serve as biomarker for infertility women.

In developed nations, women have increasingly deferred childbearing, leading to a rise in demand for infertility treatments and the widespread use of assisted reproductive technologies. However, despite advancements vitro fertilization (IVF), live birth rates among over 40 remain suboptimal. Mitochondrial dysfunction is widely recognized as key factor processes driving age-related deterioration both quantity quality oocytes. We aim summarize current insights into ovarian aging, with particular focus on pathways that impair mitochondrial function, explore directions future research.

Decline in ovarian function with age not only affects fertility but is also linked to a higher risk of age-related diseases women ( e.g . osteoporosis, dementia). Intriguingly, earlier menopause shorter lifespan; however, the underlying molecular mechanisms aging are well understood. Recent evidence suggests gut microbiota may influence health. In this study, we characterized associated microbial profiles mice and investigated effect microbiome from young estropausal female on health through fecal transplantation. We demonstrate that transcriptome can be broadly remodeled after heterochronic transplantation, reduction inflammation-related gene expression trends consistent transcriptional rejuvenation. Consistently, these exhibited enhanced increased fertility. Using metagenomics-based causal mediation analyses serum untargeted metabolomics, identified candidate species metabolites contribute observed effects Our findings reveal direct link between
