Vegetation coverage reflects the degree of environmental degradation. Timely and effective monitoring vegetation conditions is basis for promoting protection improving ecological environment mining areas. Exploring extraction methods selecting optimal index in areas can provide scientific reference estimating based on Uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) are widely used because their fast real-time performance, high spatial resolution, easy accessibility. In this study, performances nine visible indices two threshold segmentation extracting a post-gold area Qinling Mountains were comprehensively compared using spectrum UAV images. Of indices, excess green (EXG) visible-band difference (VDVI) most discriminating between non-vegetation by visual interpretation. addition, accuracy bimodal histogram method was higher than that Otsu’s method. The combined with EXG yielded results. Based methods, total percentages fractional 2019, 2020, 2021 31.47%, 34.08%, 42.77%, respectively, indicating improved. Anthropogenic activities are causing a steep decline of wildlife populations. Increased inbreeding in shrinking populations can substantially curb individual fitness and population viability. One potentially important but largely ignored component depression may be cognitive decline. Cognition affects an animal's capacity to respond environmental disturbance, which, the face global change, make difference between persistence extinction. While effects on performance have been relatively well documented humans, they remain unexplored natural Here we review current (limited) knowledge whether how impinges animals' abilities. Insights into relationship cognition could prove valuable not only for comprehending development evolution also conservation.
