Vibration disease (VD) occupies one of the leading places in occupational pathology. This is characterized by complexity pathogenetic mechanisms, polysyndromicity, chronic course, resistance to therapy, and often leads disability disablement patients. Among possible risk factors for development VD, attention researchers paid genetic predisposition. The work summarizes results modern research on identification candidate genes their polymorphisms that determine predisposition occurrence VD a number other diseases have similar mechanisms. literature search was carried out English text databases PubMed, Scopus, Web Science scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.ru (RSCI). review examines some phase I xenobiotic detoxification, family cation channels with transient receptor potential, superoxide dismutases, glutathione peroxidases, epoxide hydrolases, matrix metalloproteinases, caspases, endothelial nitric oxide synthase, heat shock proteins, folate cycle, sirtuins, endothelins, angiotensin-converting enzyme, serotonin genes, as well interleukins tumor necrosis factor genes. Based data, complex mechanism interaction between different can be assumed involved formation VD. molecular studies confirm polymorphism symptoms Further study new predictors required. data obtained will not only expand our understanding pathogenesis mechanisms development, but also provide tools prediction personalized approach prevention treatment.

Abstract Objective To confirm a previously reported association of TRPV1 rs8065080 with the risk transformation from episodic (EM) to chronic migraine (CM) and extend knowledge about role other single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), we first investigated impact three SNPs (rs8065080, rs222747 rs222749) on chronification in case-control study. A systematic review meta-analysis were then conducted summarize accumulated findings. Methods Genotyping selected was performed using TaqMan real-time PCR 167 EM 182 CM participants. Crude adjusted odds ratios associated 95% confidence intervals calculated log-additive, dominant, recessive genetic models. comprehensive literature search PubMed, Web Knowledge, Cochrane Library, OpenGrey until February 2024. Results In our study, no found between chronification, both unadjusted logistic regression models after adjustment for confounding clinical variables. The results total 241 participants 223 confirmed any tested. Conclusion present study exclude major rs8065080, rs222747, rs222749 as factors chronification. However, further research is needed investigate gene-gene gene-environment interactions migraine.
