Abstract: Resveratrol (3, 5, 4′‐trihydroxystilbene) is a polyphenolic derivative with herbal origin. It has attracted considerable attention in recent decades. Many studies have revealed the benefits of over several human disease models, including heart and neurological diseases, nephroprotective, immune regulation, antidiabetic, anti-obesity, age‐related antiviral, anticancer experimental clinical conditions. Recently, antioxidant anti-inflammatory activities been observed, it shown that reduces inflammatory biomarkers, such as tissue degradation factor, cyclooxygenase 2, nitric oxide synthase, interleukins. All these appear to be dependent on its structural properties, number position hydroxyl group, which regulates oxidative stress, cell death, inflammation. well tolerated safe even at higher pharmacological doses desirably affects cardiovascular, neurological, diabetic diseases. Consequently, plausible can regarded beneficial nutritional additive complementary drug, particularly for therapeutic applications. The present review provides an overview currently available investigations preventive characteristics main molecular mechanisms potent derivatives various Thus, this would enhance knowledge information about encourage researchers worldwide consider pharmaceutical drug struggle future health crises against different disorders.

SOCS (Suppressor of Cytokine Signalling) proteins are intracellular negative regulators that primarily modulate and inhibit cytokine-mediated signal transduction, playing a crucial role in immune homeostasis related inflammatory diseases. act as inhibitors by regulating the Janus kinase-signal transducer activator transcription (JAK-STAT) signaling pathway, thereby intervening pathogenesis inflammation autoimmune Recent studies have also demonstrated their involvement central immunity neuroinflammation, showing dual functionality. However, specific mechanisms nervous system remain unclear. This review thoroughly elucidates linking SOCS-JAK-STAT pathway with manifestations neurodegenerative Based on this, it proposes theory can regulate JAK-STAT occurrence neuroinflammation. Additionally, this explores detail current therapeutic landscape potential targeting brain via for offering insights into targets treatment

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by cognitive decline and memory loss. Despite advances in understanding the pathophysiological mechanisms of AD, effective treatments remain scarce. Lithium salts, recognized as mood stabilizers bipolar disorder, have been extensively studied for their neuroprotective effects. Several studies indicate that lithium may be disease-modifying agent treatment AD. Lithium’s properties AD acting on multiple neuropathological targets, such reducing amyloid deposition tau phosphorylation, enhancing autophagy, neurogenesis, synaptic plasticity, regulating cholinergic glucose metabolism, inhibiting neuroinflammation, oxidative stress, apoptosis, while preserving mitochondrial function. Clinical trials demonstrated therapy can improve function patients with In particular, meta-analyses shown more safer than recently FDA-approved aducanumab improving The affordability therapeutic efficacy prompted reassessment its use. However, use lead to potential side effects safety issues, which limit clinical application. Currently, several new formulations are undergoing efficacy. This review focuses lithium’s mechanism action treating highlighting latest preclinical trials. It also explores coping strategies, offering strategy
