Various problems and obstacles are encountered during pig farming, especially the weaning phase when switching from liquid to solid feed. Infection by pathogenic bacteria causes damage intestinal barrier function of piglets, disrupts balance microbiota, destroys chemical, mechanical, immune barriers tract, which is one main gut inflammation or diseases in piglets. The traditional method add antibiotics piglet diets prevent bacterial infections. However, long-term overuse leads resistance residues animal products, threatening human health causing microbiota dysbiosis. In this context, finding alternatives maintain pre- post-weaning piglets infections becomes a real emergency. utilization probiotics nutrition has emerged as pivotal strategy promote defend against infections, offering sustainable alternative antibiotic usage. This review introduces recent findings that underscore multifaceted roles enhancing welfare, fortifying mitigating impacts common pathogens. Meanwhile, study functions different perspectives: positive effects on health, protecting pathogen infection, mechanisms preventing bacteria.

Dietary fiber is a key nutritional regulatory factor that has been studied intensively for its role in improving reproduction sows during gestation. However, the metabolic mechanism underlying effect of interactions between metabolites and gut microbes on coarse feeding tolerance indigenous remains to be elucidated. Therefore, present study aimed investigate effects dietary supplementation with alfalfa at different content ratios reproductive performance pregnant Songliao Black sows. In total, 40 30 days gestation were allocated four treatments, which received following diets: (1) corn-soybean meal basal diet no (CON group), (2) +10% (Treatment 1 (3) +20% 2 (4) +30% 3 group). Untargeted metabolomics, 16S rDNA sequencing, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) performed determine possible metabolites, microbial communities fecal samples their functional potential, serum biochemical parameters, oxidative stress, hormones The results revealed meals 10 20% had beneficial terms these Bacterial sequencing 10% group higher

The present study utilized full-length 16S rRNA gene sequencing to investigate the impact of dietary protein content on composition and function gut microbiota, analyze microbiota pigs in growing (30 kg) finishing (120 stages under different feeding conditions. results indicated that was significantly between fed high- low-protein diets. Comparing fecal samples from at 30 120 kg, kg showed a significant increase relative abundance Clostridium butyricum, whereas Lactobacillus reuteri johnsonii decreased. To access functional profiles metabolic pathways based amplicon sequence variants (ASVs), microbiome exhibited enrichments Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) related metabolism-related category, including Alanine, aspartate glutamate metabolism, Tyrosine Thiamin Inositol phosphate metabolism. Meanwhile, analysis using MetaCyc database group were distinct when compared samples. Overall, findings markedly shaped by levels.
