SARS-CoV-2 vaccination is the standard of care for prevention COVID-19 disease. Although triggers both humoral and cellular immune response, efficacy currently evaluated by measuring antibodies only, whereas adaptative immunity unexplored. Our aim to test cell-mediated response after three doses BNT162b vaccine in two cohorts fragile patients: Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID) patients Kidney Transplant Recipients (KTR) compared healthy donors. We enrolled 10 controls (HCs), 19 CVID 17 KTR patients. HC third dose had successfully mounted response. A positive correlation between Anti-Spike Trimeric IgG concentration neutralizing antibody titer was also observed. groups showed a lower HCs. IFN-γ release induced epitopes Spike protein stimulated CD4+ CD8+ T cells similar among vaccinated HC, KTR. Patients infected more efficient only In conclusion, an but not vaccine, suggesting that evaluation cell responses could be sensitive marker immunization these subjects.
