The intricate relationship between the gastrointestinal (GI) microbiome and progression of chronic non-communicable diseases underscores significance developing strategies to modulate GI microbiota for promoting human health. administration probiotics prebiotics represents a good strategy that enhances population beneficial bacteria in intestinal lumen post-consumption, which has positive impact on In addition, dietary fibers serve as significant energy source inhabiting cecum colon. Research articles reviews sourced from various global databases were systematically analyzed using specific phrases keywords investigate these relationships. There is clear association fiber intake improved colon function, gut motility, reduced colorectal cancer (CRC) risk. Moreover, state health reflected reciprocal bidirectional relationships among food, antioxidants, inflammation, body composition. They are known their antioxidant properties ability inhibit angiogenesis, metastasis, cell proliferation. Additionally, they promote survival, immune inflammatory responses, inactivate pro-carcinogens. These actions collectively contribute role prevention. different investigations, supplements containing vitamins have been shown lower risk types. contrast, some evidence suggests taking can increase cancer. Ultimately, collaborative efforts immunologists, clinicians, nutritionists, dietitians imperative designing well-structured nutritional trials corroborate clinical efficacy therapy managing inflammation preventing carcinogenesis. This review seeks explore interrelationships fiber, microbiome, with particular focus potential implications

Abstract In the last two decades, novel and promising cell-based therapies have populated treatment landscape for haematological tumors. However, commonly exploited T NK show limited applicability to solid This is mainly given by impaired tumor trafficking capability effector activity of these cells within a highly immunosuppressive microenvironment. Myeloid spontaneously home tumors can thus be reprogrammed and/or engineered directly attack or locally selectively deliver therapeutically relevant payloads that may improve efficacy immunotherapy against difficult-to-access context myeloid therapies, adoptive transfer monocytes has often been overshadowed infusion differentiated macrophages hematopoietic stem cell transplantation despite their therapeutic potential. Here, we summarize recent improvements benefits using tumors, current clinical applications challenges use as well some possible strategies overcome them.

Background Neural precursor cell expressed developmentally downregulated 9 (NEDD9) is considered an important factor in the progression of cancer, acting as a modulator cellular migration, adhesion, and metastatic potential. Its significance prognostic factor, however, remains unclear, which necessitated comprehensive review meta-analysis. Methods Our study followed PRISMA guidelines, analyzing studies from major databases including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane. eligibility criteria included evaluating NEDD9 expression relation to cancer prognosis outcomes such overall survival (OS), progression-free (PFS), disease-free Survival (DFS), recurrence-free (RFS), cancer-specific (CSS). We used random-effects fixed-effect models for meta-analysis, we validated our findings by comparative analysis using data external cohorts like The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). Results 27 with 3915 patients demonstrated significant relationship between poor OS indicated pooled meta-analysis outcome across all cancers (HR: 1.81, 95% CI: 1.38-2.37). A effect on PFS/DFS/RFS/CSS was also found 2.14, 1.42-3.23). Variations different types were subgroup analysis. correlated various immune cells according infiltration Protein-protein interaction (PPI) interactions involving NEDD9, suggesting mechanisms influence tumor behavior response treatment. Conclusion results suggest that marker several human cancers. As result its central role prognosis, it presents promising target therapeutic interventions. highlights importance further research into biology
