Introduction Parasitic diseases pose a significant global public health challenge, affecting billions of people and causing substantial economic losses in livestock poultry. In the fight against these infections, neutrophils play crucial role, employing various strategies, including release neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). Recent studies have made progress understanding NETs triggered by protozoa helminths. However, comprehensive bibliometric analysis that compiles findings identifies research hotspots trends this field is still lacking. Methods We utilized Web Science Core Collection Scopus databases to retrieve original articles on induced After screening, data was transferred visualization tools VOSviewer, Biblioshiny, CiteSpace for analysis. Results Our study included 159 published 69 journals, involving 909 authors from 270 institutions across 41 countries. Germany Brazil most contributions parasites, accounting 45 32 publications, 1,495 1,342 citations, respectively. Carlos Hermosilla Anja Taubert (Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany), Elvira Saraiva (Federal Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), are leaders field, both terms publication output citations.
