Abstract The fungicide mancozeb is widely used to maintain and enhance crop yields. However, improper continuous application can negatively impact both biotic abiotic environmental quality. Bioremediation offers a promising solution mitigate residues, yet the use of Trichoderma spp. for this purpose remains underexplored. This study aimed to: (a) identify from paddy fields with frequent application, (b) evaluate growth on PDA media containing mancozeb, (c) assess their in vitro capacity degrade mancozeb. research was conducted at Plant Disease Laboratory, Faculty Agriculture, Universitas Nusa Cendana, May November 2023. Soil samples were collected pesticide-treated fields, isolated using serial dilution method. isolates cultured concentrations 0 (control), 2.4 mg/L, 3.0 3.6 4.8 6.0 mg/L. Mancozeb degradation evaluated modified dual-culture method Alternaria padwickii as an indicator fungus. findings revealed that: harzianum identified it exhibited demonstrated potential bioremediation agent residues.
