The application of bio-organic fertilizers can significantly improve soil fertility and crop yield. This study explored how replacing fertilizer with equal nitrogen affected potato quality, yield, microbial diversity after a 4-year positioning experiment. results showed that the instead 70% chemical could increase yield by 10.4–155.4% but had no significant effect on quality. Furthermore, decrease number bacterial species, it did not influence fungal communities. At phylum level, was directly proportional to abundance Gemmatimonadota Ascomycota, inversely Acidobacteriota Basidiomycota. genus Longimicrobiaceae, Lysobacter, Nocardioides were higher, whereas Vicinamibacteraceae, Gaiella, Solirubrobacter lower. Arthrobacter, Parcubacteria, Lautropia, Luteimonas, Brunneochlamydosporium signatures treatment positively correlated Thus, in dry climates little rainfall, partial substitution higher bioorganic alter composition communities rhizosphere soil, thus improving

In this study, we investigated if reducing the amount of chemical fertilizer by combining it with organic in Hemerocallis citrina Baroni (H. citrina) cultivation could improve plant growth and photosynthetic capacity and, consequently, increase yield quality. A continuous two-year field experiment was conducted at a research farm Zhangzhou City, China, during 2021–2022. Six fertilization levels two locally grown H. cultivars, “Taidong 6” “Shibage”, were tested. The results showed that 100% recommended dose (RDF) bio-organic yielded superior effects promoting both vegetative reproductive comparison to RDF alone. However, application rate fertilizers, especially more than 40%, resulted significant decline certain agronomic traits such as width, leaf scape length. Compared RDF, use or 80% combination significantly increased chlorophyll content, net rate, transpiration well production, while excessive reductions produced demonstrated an opposite trend. co-application enhanced contents soluble sugar lowered total acidity, whereas reduction decreased vitamin C, flavonoids, protein levels. Utilizing radar chart analysis for comprehensive assessment quality demonstrates be better regime cultivation.

Green manure returning can improve soil fertility and crop production, immobilize heavy metals in the soil. However, limited information is available on effects of green replacing chemical fertilizers properties growth. In this study, we investigated Chinese milk vetch incorporation with reduced properties, rice agronomic traits cadmium (Cd) accumulation by field experiments, four treatments were conducted: fertilizer alone (CF), (MV), plus 80% (MVCF80), 50% (MVCF50). The results showed that all decreased pH Eh, increased SOM, DOC contents activities catalase urease. DTPA-Cd 20.41%, 18.20%, 21.22%, Cd root, stem, leaf, grain 21.13%-37.62%, 20.74%-39.61%, 21.91%-43.56% under MV, MVCF80, MVCF50 treatments, respectively. Additionally, MVCF80 treatment a better yield than others. These data revealed great potential reduction decreasing plants improving quality Cd-contaminated paddy fields.
