Vegetation restoration has become a common practice in karst rocky desertification (KRD) areas of southwestern China. The bacteria, which have made connection between soil and plants, been an important role regulating the succession vegetation. However, it is still unclear how bacterial communities properties respond to natural vegetation processes areas. To address this gap, we investigated nutrients, enzyme activity, community among various plant communities, including farmland (FL), land with herbs only (SSI), herb-and-shrub (SSII), woody thickets (SSIII), coniferous forest (SSIV), broad-leaved mixed (SSV), evergreen (SSVI). Our results found that SSII had highest levels organic matter, total nitrogen, available phosphorus, sucrase, β-glucosidase all communities. These indicated contributed rapid KRD regions. Different vegetation restoration methods may affect the soil’s physicochemical properties and microbial communities. However, it is not known how network’s complexity of bacterial fungal communities respond to short-term restoration. We conducted a ecological experiment reveal response community stability initial during degraded grassland ecosystem. The two (sowing alfalfa (Medicago sativa, AF) smooth brome (Bromus inermis, SB)) had no significant effect on alpha diversity community, but SB significantly increased soil surface (p < 0.01). results NMDS showed that were altered by restoration, they available phosphorus (AP), potassium (AK), nitrate nitrogen (nitrate-N) closely related changes in Moreover, fungi networks, opposite was case with bacteria. Our findings confirm sowing be favorable amelioration short-term. Such have important implications for processes recovery.

The makeup of soil microbial communities may serve as a crucial predictor the alpine grassland ecosystem. Climate change and human disturbance have resulted in intensified ecosystem degradation, such rocky desertification, which modify structures composition microorganisms. However, little is known about effects desertification on soil. Here, we investigated five different layers Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, including nil rock (NRD); potential (PRD); light (LRD); moderate (MRD); severe (SRD), compared bacterial community with physiochemical properties conditions. result showed that significantly altered but did not affect abundance diversity. At same time increased, organic carbon (SOC), total nitrogen (TN), alkali hydrolyzable (AN), available phosphorus (AP), potassium (AK) decreased significantly, while pH, (TP); (TK) increased. Redundancy analysis revealed AK, TP, SOC are key factors influencing communities. Our finding provides basic information scientific reference for restoration grasslands.

In this paper, we took contiguous region Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou, China, a global hotspot, as study area. Based valuation gross product (GEP) county intensity, analyzed structural spatial GEP using analysis methods. We found that: (1) mainly distributed counties with low intensity (86.05% total number counties) vulnerable losses caused by livelihood farmers; (2) spatially small scattered (the geographic concentration lies between 0.015 0.237), which makes it difficult form industrial scale advantages; (3) public index (66.22–96.77%) industry (97.87–99.86%) are high, most transform private market. our findings, proposed three corresponding recommendations decision-making.
