Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a highly aggressive malignancy, with low 5-y survival rate and frequent local recurrence or metastasis. Digestive system tumours (DSTs) often diagnosed late due to nonspecific symptoms. Non-invasive biomarkers are crucial for early detection and improved outcomes. We collected tongue coating samples from 710 patients with DST 489 healthy controls (HC) April 2023, December 2023. Microbial composition was analyzed using 16S rRNA sequencing, five machine learning algorithms were applied assess the diagnostic potential of microbiota.
