Neuropathic pain (NP) is a prevalent chronic condition frequently accompanied by adverse emotional states. Previous research has demonstrated the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture (EA) in mitigating neuropathic and its associated mood disorders. Recent studies have underscored correlation between gut microbiota both NP negative Nevertheless, relationship modulation EA amelioration remains inadequately understood. Mice were randomly assigned to one three groups: Control (Con) group, Chronic Constrictive Injury (CCI) group (n = 12 each). Starting from 8th day post-CCI induction, underwent treatment once every two days, for total 20 sessions. To investigate impact on CCI mice, we employed variety methods, including various behavioral tests 16S ribosomal DNA (rDNA) sequencing. The results indicated that significantly ameliorated mechanical allodynia dysfunction induced mice. Analysis through rDNA sequencing revealed model mice exhibited marked increase diversity. However, could partially reverse changes diversity microbiota. abundance Alloprevotella, A2, Roseburia, Muribaculum, Ruminiclostridium, Rikenella was increased, levels Bacteroides decreased at genus level Following treatment, relative Alistipes, decreased, whereas Alloprevotella Parabacteroides increased when compared with group. These findings suggested exerted significant therapeutic effect NP, potentially

Respiratory tuberculosis (RTB), a global health concern affecting millions of people, has been observationally linked to the gut microbiota, but depth and nature this association remain elusive. Despite these findings, underlying causal relationship is still uncertain. Consequently, we used Mendelian randomization (MR) method further investigate potential connection. We sourced data on microbiota from comprehensive genome-wide study (GWAS) conducted by MiBioGen Consortium (7686 cases, 115,893 controls). For RTB, procured 2 distinct datasets, labeled Fingen R9 TBC RESP AB1 RESP, Finnish Genetic Consortium. To decipher between employed MR both datasets.
