This study aimed to assess the impact of a combination probiotic strains Lactiplantibacillus on treatment androgenic alopecia (AGA). To this end, 136 individuals with AGA (62 men and 74 women) aged 18–65 years were enrolled in double-blind, parallel-group clinical trial. A total 115 (57 group 58 placebo group) completed within 16-week intervention period. Capillary density, thickness, length hair analyzed before after using FotoFinder Trichoscale Pro. In addition, gut microbiota was assessed by paired-end sequencing Illumina MiSeq platform (2 × 300 bp). At conclusion period, notable decline (p < 0.05) number telogen hairs evident while thickness decreased 0.05). However, remaining variables did not exhibit any statistically significant changes. probiotic-treated group, less than 37.5 exhibited reduction density = 0.0693 p 0.0669, respectively) an increase 0.0871). Furthermore, vellus observed, accompanied no change thickness. The significantly higher abundance Lactobacillus (p-adjusted 0.05, DEseq2 test) demonstrated hair, percentage anagen hair. mixture well tolerated participants, adherence rate 90%. light study’s limitations, it can be concluded that three promotes presence terminal follicles, preventing their gradual miniaturization, which is characteristic AGA.

Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) found to be associated with Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA) date, are characterized by an apparent reduced penetrance into the phenotype suggesting a role of other factors in etiology AGA. Objective: We conducted study investigate specific allelic variants AGA controlling for nutritional and lifestyle factors. Methods: Individual patterns SNPs present baldness susceptibility locus at 20p11 (rs1160312 rs6113491) or close androgen receptor (AR) gene chromosome X (rs1041668) were investigated 212 male subjects. Information on socio-demographic characteristics, medical history, smoking, diet was also collected. Logistic regression used estimate odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Results: After age, diet, BMI, family history AGA, increased risk subjects [A] alleles both rs1160312 (OR: 2.97; CI: 1.34–6.62) rs6113491 2.99; 1.37–6.52), TT genotype rs1041668 4.47; 1.60–12.5). Multivariate logistic indicates that familiarity, but not remain statistically significant despite different SNP genotypes. Conclusions: To our knowledge, this is first indication rs1160312, rs6113491, independent can modulated diet.

To explore unhealthy diet and lifestyle factors associated with female androgenetic alopecia (FAGA) in a community-based study. A total of 3,008 participants were recruited from the Jidong community (Tangshan, Hebei, China). FAGA was assessed by Savin scale. Data collection conducted through structured questionnaires. Univariate multivariate logistic regression analyses employed to identify potential factors. In conclusion, our data suggest that females who snore during sleep, consume meats, regularly drink are more susceptible alopecia. Additionally, analysis revealed significantly correlated
