ABSTRACT The complex link between COVID‐19 and immunometabolic diseases demonstrates the important interaction metabolic dysfunction immunological response during viral infections. Severe COVID‐19, defined by a hyperinflammatory state, is greatly impacted underlying chronic illnesses aggravating cytokine storm caused increased levels of Pro‐inflammatory cytokines. Metabolic reprogramming, including glycolysis altered mitochondrial function, promotes replication stimulates inflammatory production, contributing to illness severity. Mitochondrial metabolism abnormalities, strongly linked various systemic illnesses, worsen after pandemic, increasing cardiovascular consequences. Long inflammation immune dysregulation, poses continuous problems, highlighting need for comprehensive therapy solutions that address both aspects. Understanding these relationships shows promise effectively managing its long‐term repercussions, which focus this review paper.

Diabetic cognitive dysfunction is one of the important comorbidities and complications diabetes, which mainly manifested by loss learning ability memory, behavioural disorders, may even develop into dementia. While traditional anti-diabetic medications are effective in improving cognition long-term use these can be accompanied undesirable side effects. Therefore, there an urgent need to find safe alternative therapies. Accumulating evidence suggests that phytogenic bioactive peptides play role regulation diabetes. In this review, we explored relationship between diabetes mellitus dysfunction, potential underlying mechanisms plant-derived improve diabetic dysfunction. We found active alleviate impairment inhibiting key enzymes (e.g., α-glucosidase, α-amylase) blood glucose levels increase antioxidant activity, modulate inflammatory mediators, address intestinal dysbiosis. conclusion, show strong impairment.
