The photodynamic inactivation (PDI) of bacteria is a promising alternative to antibiotics in boar semen extenders. It was recently established using the illumination samples containing 2 µM photosensitizer 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(N-methyl-4-pyridyl)-21H,23H-porphine (TMPyP) with white LED light. High concentrations TMPyP require strict sample handling dark avoid uncontrolled effects caused by ambient This study designed examine whether lower PS could be utilized along narrow band blue light source, which aligns TMPyP’s Soret band, thereby minimizing light-induced disruption. A dose-response exposure sperm revealed no toxicity. Importantly, substituting PDI and 0.5 resulted robust antimicrobial efficiency compatibility long-term stored samples. modification led confirmation hypothesis that diminished concentration concert facilitates normal laboratory while avoiding unintended effects. In conclusion, this plays pivotal role augmenting practicality innovative technology establishing method less susceptible unanticipated during management.
