Olfactory
dysfunction
is

Parkinson’s
disease
(PD)
is
characterized
not
only
by
motor
symptoms
but
also
non-motor
dysfunctions,
such
as
olfactory
impairment;
the
cause
fully
understood.
Our
study
suggests
that
neuronal
loss
and
inflammation
in
brain
regions
along
pathway,
bulb

cortex
(PC),
may
contribute
to
dysfunction
PD
mice,

might
be
related
downregulation
of
trace
amine-associated
receptor
1
(TAAR1)

Objective
To
investigate
the
current
situation
of
olfactory
dysfunction
in
patients
after
endoscopic
transsphenoidal
resection
pituitary
tumors,
and
analyze
its
influencing
factors,
to
provide
references
for
clinical
nursing
rehabilitation.
Methods
A
cross-sectional
study
design
convenience
sampling
method
were
used
158
with
tumors
treated
by
tumor
Department
Neurosurgery
three
Grade-A
general
hospitals
Sichuan
Province
from
January
2022
June
2023.
The
function
was
evaluated
1

surgery,
data

collected,
factors

analyzed
logistic
regression.
Results
incidence
73.42%.
