Background and Objectives: The study aimed at identification analysis of adverse COVID-19 outcomes (admission to intensive care units due COVID-19, acute respiratory distress syndrome, mechanical ventilation, death) among hospitalized pregnant nonpregnant women, which are critical for informed decision-making in obstetric diagnostics healthcare. Materials Methods: This was a retrospective observational conducted on series inpatient women comparatively followed up with between 15 July 2020 20 January 2022 across multidisciplinary hospitals three cities Kazakhstan. Following group matching propensity score disease severity, residence status, age, the ultimately included 156 participants, whom 50% were pregnant, from an initial sample 314 female inpatients diagnosed COVID-19. All findings considered statistically significant p-value < 0.05. Results: Laboratory investigations revealed significantly elevated levels erythrocyte sedimentation rate, creatinine, neutrophils, platelet count, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate lymphocyte C-reactive protein compared inpatients. Furthermore, exhibited higher D-dimer (2402.97 ng/mL vs. 793.91 ng/mL) procalcitonin (0.398 0.134 their counterparts. Overall, 16.88% admitted unit, whereas only 2.6% hospitalized. most lethal (8.3%) occurred while there two cases (1.3%). Conclusions: Pregnant may exhibit more severe clinical symptoms encounter Future research should incorporate larger matched samples comprehensively explore association additional factors conditions.
