Background: Telerehabilitation is a practical option for individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS) to engage in sustained physical activity without -visiting rehabilitation facility. The aim of this systematic review was evaluate the feasibility, effectiveness, safety, and adherence exercise-based telerehabilitation as compared usual care MS patients. Methods: A comprehensive literature search adhering PRISMA guidelines conducted, focusing on studies published English since 2000. protocol registered PROSPERO. selection process involved strict criteria, including people MS, centred regular exercise, control group receiving care, valid exercise testing, randomized controlled trial principles. Methodological quality assessed using TESTEX tool, ensuring rigour study design reporting. Results: Among 281 records screened, 10 met criteria. interventions varied format outcomes were diverse tests questionnaires. Despite variations, collectively demonstrated promising feasibility minimal withdrawals minor adverse events. Effectiveness varied, 5 out showing significant improvements intervention group. Adherence rates ranged from 38% 100%. Conclusion: In most aspects, comparable centre-based rehabilitation.

O trabalho aborda a esclerose múltipla (EM) como uma doença complexa do sistema nervoso central, discutindo interação entre processos inflamatórios, desmielinização e degeneração neuroaxonal. Destaca-se importância das células imunes na penetração da barreira hematoencefálica formação de lesões desmielinizantes. Enquanto os tratamentos para forma recidivante EM são eficazes, as opções progressiva não limitadas.
