The prevalence of tension-type headache (TTH) is extremely high worldwide, but comprehensive global epidemiological studies targeting the specific age group 15-39 years remain relatively limited. This study utilized data from Global Burden Disease 2021 (GBD 2021) to analyze incidence, prevalence, and disability-adjusted life (DALYs) associated with TTH, identified temporal trends using estimated annual percentage change (EAPC). also investigated association between burden TTH Socio-demographic Index (SDI). From 1990 2021, increased, a 38% rise in cases incidence cases. Across SDI regions, middle region experienced most significant growth cases, while regions showed decline. Globally, 35-39 faces more severe disease burden, at 188.27 (95% UI: 123.88-252.96) million, 61.82 39.02-87.97) DALYs 461.94 118.38-1494.8) thousand. has shown sustained increase. pronounced occurred highlighting urgent need for targeted public health strategies enhance quality among AYAs affected by TTH.
