From learning environments to battlefields marketing teams, the desire measure cognition and cognitive fatigue in real time has been a grand challenge optimizing human performance. Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) is an effective optical technique for measuring changes subdermal hemodynamics, it championed as more practical method monitoring brain function compared MRI. This study reports on innovative functional NIRS (fNIRS) sensor that integrates entire system into compact wearable device, enabling long-term of patients. The device provides unrestricted mobility user with Bluetooth connection settings configuration data transmission. A connected such smartphone or laptop equipped appropriate interface software, collects raw data, then stores generates real-time analyses. Tests confirm sensitive oxy- deoxy-hemoglobin forehead region, which indicate neuronal activity provide information studies.
