Background Electroencephalography (EEG) has become an indispensable tool in stroke research for real-time monitoring of neural activity, prognosis prediction, and rehabilitation support. In recent decades, EEG applications have expanded, particularly areas like brain-computer interfaces (BCI) neurofeedback motor recovery. However, a comprehensive analysis trends this domain is currently unavailable. Methods The study collected data from the Web Science Core Collection database, selecting publications related to 2005 2024. Visual tools such as VOSviewer CiteSpace were utilized build knowledge maps field, analyzing distribution publications, authors, institutions, journals, collaboration networks. Additionally, co-occurrence, clustering, burst detection keywords analyzed detail. Results A total 2,931 identified, indicating consistent increase stroke, with significant growth post-2017. United States, China, Germany emerged leading contributors, high networks among Western institutions. Key included signal processing advancements, seizure risk consciousness disorder assessment, EEG-driven techniques. Notably, studies focused on integrating machine learning multimodal more precise functional evaluations. Conclusion findings reveal that evolved diagnostic therapeutic support platform context care. advent deep integration positioned expanded personalized rehabilitation. Objective Disorders of consciousness (DoC) result from severe traumatic brain injury and hypoxia or ischemia tissues, leading to impaired perceptual abilities. Electroencephalography (EEG) is a non-invasive widely applicable technology used for assessing DoC. We aimed identify the research hotspots in this field through systematic analysis. Methods Relevant studies published January 1, 2004 December 31, 2023 were retrieved Web Science Core Collection database. The data analyzed visualized using CiteSpace, VOSviewer, SCImago Graphica. Results In total, 1,639 relevant publications retrieved. country with highest number was United States, most productive institution Harvard University, journal output Clinical Neurophysiology , total citations Neurology . author Steven Laureys common keyword “vegetative state.” Conclusion undergoing rapid development, characterized by proliferation advanced technologies an increased emphasis on international collaboration. document offers impartial perspective advancements study benefit researchers.

This case report describes an innovative study using central combined vagus dual-target magnetic stimulation for treating non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease (PD). PD is a common neurodegenerative disease, and almost all patients experience varying degrees symptoms. However, there aren’t many targeted drugs Based on this clinical, we used left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) nerve to treat The choice method based the closed-loop rehabilitation theory central-peripheral-central. Stimulation DLPFC promoted activation brain functional areas improved neuroplasticity, while further enhanced positive feedback input nervous system, forming information feedback, synergically recovery patient in paper had such as constipation, short-term memory impairment, insomnia, depression, hallucinations. We 10 sessions total. was performed at 10Hz, 120% resting motor threshold (RMT) intensity, 1000 pulses per sequence minutes. 100%RMT, with total 2000 duration 14 Assessment before treatment, after one month follow-up showed improvements cognitive function, mood, constipation Therefore, believe treatment approach may represent promising new option PD.
