Imidacloprid is a neonicotinoid insecticide used to control insect pests in avocado (Persea americana); its excessive application could generate residues above the maximum residue limits (MRL) fruit, causing serious health risk consumers. The objective of this work was determine and dissipation imidacloprid Hass variety. treatments were doses (0.5, 1.0 1.5 mL.L-1) under commercial formulation Thunder 350SC forms (sprayed foliage drip at foot plant). There six completely randomized experimental design with three replications 18 units (plants). Quantification by HPLC (QuEChERS). evaluations carried out on two matrices (avocado fruit peel pulp) 1, 3, 7 14 days after Imidacloprid. 0.5 mL.L-1 dose plant resulted lower residual higher percentage both matrices, daily rate pulp, concentrations that did not exceed MRL (0.7 mg.kg-1). spraying residual, exceeding days. Imidacloprid is one of the most commonly used insecticides for managing pests, thus, improving quality and yield vegetables. The abuse/misuse imidacloprid contaminates environment threatens human health. To reduce risk, a colorimetric enzyme-linked immunoassay assay (Co-ELISA) chemiluminescence (Cl-ELISA) were established to detect residues in linear range Co-ELISA ranged between 1.56 μg/L 200 with limit detection (LOD) μg/L. values Cl-ELISA 0.19 25 an LOD μg/L, which are lower than those Co-ELISA. Fortifying Chinese cabbage, cucumber, zucchini at 10, 50, 100 yielded recoveries 81.7 117.6% 5, 20 µg/L from 69.7 120.6% Cl-ELISA. These results indicate that has high sensitivity rapid time, saving cost (antigen antibody concentrations) serving as more efficient model residue.

Pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables cause serious health issues, especially among children. This research was carried out to monitor evaluate the risks of organophosphate pesticide Maragheh County apple products from 2020. The Monte Carlo Simulation approach (MCS) used non-cancerous effects exposure adults Apple samples were taken every two weeks at central market during summer fall months. In this study, seventeen 30 estimated using a modified QuECheRS extraction technique coupled with GC/MS. Of pesticides, thirteen identified as (76.47%). highest concentration found associated chlorpyrifos 1.05 mg/kg. exceeding maximum residue limits (MRLs) 100% specimens, more than 75% contained ten or residues. Approximately 45%-80% on removed after washing peeling. Chlorpyrifos had quotient (HQ) for men, women, children values 0.046, 0.054, 0.23, respectively. Cumulative risk assessment (CRA) non-carcinogenic indicates that there is no significant adult age group consumption (HI < 1). Nevertheless, are high non-cancer eating unwashed apples = 1.3). finding shows levels samples, apples, can be concern To better protect consumer health, continuous regular monitoring, strict regulations, training, awareness farmers, control pre-harvest interval (PHI) recommended.

Eighteen per cent imidacloprid + buprofezin suspension concentrate (SC) has been registered for the control of scale insect on citrus trees, but dissipation this pesticide mixture is still a research blank area. In order to fill gaps and ensure safe application formulation, field trials were conducted in Guangdong, Guangxi Hunan Provinces China 2 consecutive years evaluate final residue dynamic soil. Both pesticides extracted by modified Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged Safe (QuEChERS) method, while was determined high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) gas (GC). The established method achieved good linearity relationship (r = 0.9999) high sensitivity, LODs (limit detection) 0.002–0.013 mg/kg, which can fully meet need detection. Average recoveries (AR) soil 77.64–105.95% 85.89–102.28%, with relative standard deviations (RSD) 3.06–7.91% 3.29–7.25%, respectively. Results showed that half-lives 1.90–3.97 2.52–16.98 days, 1.69–9.14 1.21–8.56 days. On 21st day after last application, residues all samples below their maximum limits (MRL) stipulated China, indicating it apply 18% SC trees. conclusion, recommended be spared twice at intervals 7 days dosages 180 or 270 mg/L, fruit harvested safely 21 application. These results help orchards.

Aspirin is a widely used multi-efficiency pharmaceutical, and its environmental residues are frequently detected. However, limited information available on effects the development of public health pest saprophytic insect Musca domestica. In this study, it was demonstrated that aspirin inhibits larval growth house flies in concentration-dependent manner. Microbiome analysis indicated composition intestinal bacteria influenced by but not greatly. The dominant bacterial genus group still Klebsiella, as control group. Transcriptome sequencing gene set enrichment showed retinol metabolism activated after treatment. High performance liquid chromatography content larvae decreased retinoic acid increased. addition β-carotene, precursor substance retinol, feeding promotes alleviates inhibitory effect caused aspirin. contrast, delayed well Gene expression exposure genes involved transformation from to were upregulated. Overall, impairs activating can be utilized an effective pesticide. This work uncovers mechanism underlying inhibition induced terms genetics, provides novel functional exploration traditional drug for management.
