Skeletal muscle atrophy is associated with poor quality of life and disability. Thus, finding a new strategy for the prevention treatment skeletal very crucial. This study aimed to investigate therapeutic potential hydrogen-rich water (HRW) on in unilateral hind limb immobilization model. Thirty-six male Balb/C mice were divided into control (without immobilization), atrophy, + (HRW). Unilateral was induced using splint 7 days (atrophy) removed 10 (recovery). At end each phase, gastrocnemius soleus weight, grip strength, histopathology, fiber size, cross-section area (CSA), serum troponin I IL-6, TNF-α Malondialdehyde (MDA), mRNA expression NF-κB, BAX Beclin-1 evaluated. Muscle weight strength H2-treated group significantly improved during this improvement continued recovery period. Treatment by HRW increased CSA size reduced fibrosis, I, MDA which more prominent phase. These data suggest that could improve an immobilized condition be considered rehabilitation.

Prefrontal cortex (PFC) hemodynamics are regulated by numerous underlying neurophysiological components over multiple temporal scales. The pattern of output signals, such as functional near-infrared spectroscopy fluctuations (i.e., fNIRS), is thus complex. We demonstrate first-of-its-kind evidence that this fNIRS complexity a marker captures the influence endurance capacity and effects hydrogen gas (

Objective Exercise-induced oxidative stress affects multiple neurophysiological processes, diminishing the exercise performance. Hydrogen (H 2 ) can selectively reduce excessive free radicals, but studies observed its “dual effects” on exercise-induced stress, that is, increasing or decreasing stress. BACKGROUND IFootball matches induce acute and residual fatigue, impairing neuromuscular, metabolic, perceptual performance. Hydrogen-rich water (HRW) is a novel intervention with antifatigue antioxidative properties. OBJECTIVE This study will investigate the effects of pre-exercise HRW administration versus placebo on performance, biochemical markers, measures fatigue during 72-hour recovery after simulated football match. METHODS Utilizing randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled, parallel design, elite junior players underwent assessments repeated sprint ability, countermovement jump indicators (e.g., creatine kinase levels). Testing be conducted immediately post-match at 24-, 36-, intervals. Pre- post-exercise HRW/placebo was administered under standardized conditions. RESULTS assess influence molecular hydrogen to manifestation quality We expect recruitment begin spring 2025, data analysis in summer results by end 2025.
