The polysaccharides of Crataegus pinnatifida (CPP) from ten habitats were prepared through water abstraction and alcohol precipitation. Subsequently, an analysis was conducted on their physicochemical properties molecular structure. establishment multidimensional fingerprints is based instrumental methods. Through the evaluation its antioxidant activity, spectrum-effect relationship studied. GalA in monosaccharide constitution components with a weight (Mw) ranging 2.07 × 106 Da to 5.57 have positive correlation scavenging DPPH free radicals. This can furnish preparatory basis data reference for establishing quality assurance standard CPP clarifying structure-activity relationship. At same time, it provides guidance cultivation, processing, development utilisation hawthorn promotes sustainable industry.

Introduction Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is a pathological state of the caused by longterm alcohol consumption. Recent studies have shown that modulation gut microbiota and its metabolic products, specifically short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), exert critical role in evolution progression ALD. The Liuweizhiji Gegen-Sangshen beverage (LGS), as functional China, derived from traditional Chinese herbal formula has been clinically applied for ALD treatment, demonstrating significant efficacy. However, underlying mechanisms LGS alleviating involving regulation remain unknown. Methods In this study, an murine model based on National Institute Alcohol Abuse Alcoholism (NIAAA) method was established. Results results showed oral treatment dose-dependently alleviated alcoholinduced injury inflammation mice through decreasing levels ALT, AST proinflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β). significantly improved steatosis, enhanced activities metabolizing enzymes (ALDH ADH), reduced CYP2E1 activity. Notably, regarding most detected indices, effect (particularly at medium high dose) comparable to positive drug MTDX. Moreover, had favorable maintaining intestinal barrier function reducing epithelial increasing expression occludin. 16S rRNA sequencing remarkably modulated structure via recovering alcohol-induced microbial changes mediating enrichment several bacterial genera ( Alloprevotella , Monoglobus Erysipelatoclostridium Parasutterella, Harryflintia unclassified_c_Clostridia ). Further study revealed increased production SCFAs hexanoic acid cecum, promoted alcohol-mediated reduction GRP43 ileum, serum GLP-1 level. Discussion Overall, exerts remarkable protective mediated specific GPR43/GLP-1 pathway.
