rapid
decline
in
environmental

countries

1996
to
2021.

cross-sectional
dependence
tests,
slope
homogeneity
unit
root
cointegration
GMM,
fixed
effect
models,
Granger
causality
analysis,
this
research
provides
comprehensive
analysis
key
drivers.

highlight
technological
advancements

reduce
footprint,
especially
by
enhancing
regulations
fostering
sustainable
practices.

capital
(HC)
institutional
(IQ)
emerge

sustainability,

globalization
(GB)

effects
on
outcomes.

(EPS)

robust
bidirectional
causal

EFP,

their

mitigating
