Lung cancer ranks among the most prevalent forms of and remains a significant factor in cancer-related mortality across world. It poses challenges to healthcare systems society as whole due its high incidence, rates, late-stage diagnosis. Resveratrol (RV), natural compound found various plants, has shown potential nanomedicine for lung treatment. RV varied effects on cells, including promoting apoptosis by increasing pro-apoptotic proteins (Bax Bak) decreasing anti-apoptotic (Bcl-2). also hinders cell proliferation influencing important signaling pathways (MAPK, mTOR, PI3K/Akt, Wnt/β-catenin) that govern progression. In addition, acts potent antioxidant, diminishing oxidative stress safeguarding cells against DNA damage. However, using alone treatment drawbacks, such low bioavailability, lack targeting ability, susceptibility degradation. contrast, nanoparticle-based delivery address these limitations hold promise improving outcomes cancer; nanoparticle formulations offer advantages improved drug delivery, increased stability, controlled release, targeted cells. This article will provide an overview cancer, explore therapeutic agent, discuss benefits highlight nanoparticles treatment, cancer. Abstract RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) modulate the expression level of several target RNAs (such as mRNAs) post-transcriptionally through interactions with unique binding sites in 3′-untranslated region. As the second leading cause of cancer worldwide, colorectal (CRC) is associated with a poor prognosis. Although recent studies have explored prognostic markers in patients CRC, whether tissue microbes carry information remains unknown. Here, by assessing 533 CRC patients, we found that Proteobacteria (43.5%), Firmicutes (25.3%), and Actinobacteria (23.0%) dominated microbiota, which was different from gut microbiota. Moreover, two clear clusters were obtained clustering based on across all samples. By comparison, relative abundances Bacteroidetes cluster 1 significantly higher than those 2; while compared 1, more abundant 2. In addition, Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratios lower Further, 2, had relatively survival (Log-rank test, p = 0.0067). correlating patient survival, abundance dominant phyla, including Proteobacteria, Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, patients. Abstract As one of the leading causes death worldwide, cancer significantly burdens patients and healthcare system. The role long non-protein coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in carcinogenesis has been extensively studied. lncRNA ELFN1-AS1 was discovered recently, subsequent studies have revealed its aberrantly high expression various tissues. In vitro vivo experiments consistently demonstrated close association between increased malignant tumor characteristics, particularly gastrointestinal malignancies. Functional assays further mechanistic as a competitive endogenous RNA for microRNAs, inducing growth, invasive features, drug resistance. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a prevalent gastrointestinal tumor worldwide with high morbidity and mortality. Predicting the survival of CRC patients not only enhances understanding their life expectancies but also aids clinicians in making informed decisions regarding suitable adjuvant treatments. Although there are many clinical, genomic, transcriptomic studies on this hot topic, few have explored direction integrating advanced deep learning algorithms histopathological images. In addition, it still unclear if combining images molecular data can better predict patients' survival. To fill gap, we proposed study novel multimodal computational framework using Multimodal Compact Bilinear Pooling (MCBP) to 5-year from images, clinical information, data. We applied our genome atlas (TCGA) data, consisting 84 samples mRNA sequencing gene mutation all available. Under 5-fold cross-validation, model achieved an area under curve (AUC) 0.743. Whereas, image information AUCs 0.771 0.773 respectively, than that solely. Our demonstrates reasonably patients, appropriate integration these or further enhance predictive performance.
