Abstract A direct contact co‐culture of skin explants to SZ95 sebocytes (3D‐SeboSkin) has been shown preserve the integrity epidermal keratinocytes and dermis. In this study, properties melanocytes were evaluated in same 3D SeboSkin ex vivo model. Skin ( n = 6) maintained 3D‐SeboSkin model, fibroblasts alone serum‐free medium (SFM). Histopathological, immunohistochemical, apoptosis oil red staining evaluations performed at Days 0 6 incubation.
