Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) emerges as one of the most common and fatal leukemias. Treatment disease remains highly challenging owing to profound metabolic rewiring mechanisms that confer plasticity AML cells, ultimately resulting in therapy resistance. Autophagy, a conserved lysosomal-driven catabolic process devoted macromolecular turnover, displays dichotomous role by suppressing or promoting development progression. Glycolytic metabolism represents pivotal strategy for cells sustain increasing energy needs related uncontrolled growth during In this study, we tested hypothesis high glycolytic rate low autophagy flux could represent an advantage cell proliferation thus be detrimental patient’s prognosis, vice versa. TCGA silico analysis cohort shows expression MAP1LC3B (along with BECN1 p62/SQSTM1) BNIP3 PRKN MAP1LC3B), which together are indicative increased mitophagy, correlate better prognosis. On other hand, markers HK2, PFKM, PKM correlates poor Most importantly, association autophagy–mitophagy conferred longest overall survival patients. Transcriptomic showed combined signature downregulation subset genes required differentiation lactate/pyruvate transporters, cycle progression, parallel upregulation involved autophagy/lysosomal trafficking proteolysis, anti-tumor responses like beta-interferon production, positive regulation programmed death. Taken together, our data support view enhanced autophagy-mitophagy predisposes patients clinical outcome, suggesting inducers glucose restrictors may hold potential adjuvant therapeutics improving management.

Background Liver cancer is highly prevalent worldwide. However, current medical treatments remain insufficient. Although herbal medicine has a long history and extensive expertise in treating liver cancer, the literature this field not been thoroughly explored. This study aims to assess analyze distribution patterns key research areas of publications concerning for cancer. Methods Literature on published between January 1, 2008, September 28, 2024, was collected research. Excel, CiteSpace 6.4.R1, VOSviewer 1.6.20, Scimago Graphica, Bibliometrix 4.1 were used data analysis. Result The examines 634 academic articles with majority contributed by Chinese researchers, particularly from Shanghai University Traditional Medicine. Wang Ning most productive author, possessing highest h-index. JOURNAL OF ETHNOPHARMACOLOGY Journals publishing are primarily fields molecular biology immunology, whereas cited journals mainly environment, toxicology, nutrition. Keyword clustering analysis indicates that “NF kappa B” apoptosis have main topics field. Analysis emergent words suggests “network pharmacology”, antioxidants, “adjuvant therapy”, “molecular docking” may become significant near future. Conclusion provides comprehensive overview status, primary focuses, emerging trends related

Background Cardiovascular disease (CVD) poses a significant global health and economic challenge, with atherosclerosis being primary cause. Over the past 40 years, substantial research has been conducted into prevention reversal of atherosclerosis, resulting in development lipid-lowering agents such as statins fibrates. Despite extensive literature formulation numerous therapeutic guidelines this domain, comprehensive bibliometric analysis current landscape trends not performed. This study aimed to elucidate evolution milestones treatments for coronary heart (CHD) conjunction hyperlipidemia through analysis, offering insights future directions treatment strategies. Methods examined publications from 1986 2023 retrieved Web Science database (Core Collection). Utilizing tools VOSviewer, Pajek, CiteSpace, we analyzed publication citation numbers, H-indexes, contributions by countries institutions, authorship, journal sources, keyword usage uncover trajectories areas focus. Results Our 587 revealed recent surge output, particularly post-2003. The American Journal Cardiology published highest number studies, articles, whereas Circulation received citations (6,266). Key contributors included United States, Japan, China, States leading numbers H-index. Harvard University Leiden emerged pivotal Professors J. Wouter Jukema Robert P. Giugliano were identified experts. Keyword disclosed five thematic clusters, indicating shift towards new drug combinations strategies, signaling directions. Conclusion last 4 decades have seen notable rise on therapies CHD hyperlipidemia, retaining world-leading status. increase international collaboration aids innovative approaches. PCSK9 inhibitors combination therapies, including antisense oligonucleotides angiopoietin-like protein 3 inhibitors, provide avenues research, intending maximize safety efficacy

Background Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) is a prevalent condition in sports medicine, and as competitions become more popular, the incidence of injuries on rise. Despite increasing research PFPS, there remains lack bibliometric analyses this topic. The aim study was to identify hotspots trends field PFPS by reviewing 23 years literature field. Methods By analyzing from 2000 2023 core dataset Web Science database utilizing tools like CiteSpace 6.1, VOSviewer 1.6.18, R-bibliometrix 4.6.1, Pajek 5.16, Scimago Graphica 1.0.26, our gain insights into current status key areas research. examined various aspects including number publications, countries, institutions, journals, authors, collaborative networks, keywords, more. Through visualization relevant data, we also attempted forecast future Results There were 2,444 publications included study, published 322 journals 1,247 authors 818 institutions 67 countries. Journal Orthopaedic Sports Physical Therapy had highest with USA leading article count. La Trobe University contributed most articles, while Rathleff MS Barton CJ emerged prolific authors. Hip knee strength strength, lower extremity kinematics biomechanics, females (runners), muscle activation, risk factors, gait retraining, clinical practice guidelines, rehabilitation hotspot keywords. Conclusion Current suggests that still significant potential for development Key focus include effectiveness combined hip strengthening address characterization limb guidelines.
