Kisspeptins are neuropeptides encoded by the kiss1 gene, and little is known about them outside vertebrate lineage. Two kisspeptin-type (KPs) have been discovered in Apostichopus japonicus (AjK1 AjK2), an edible sea cucumber, linked to reproductive metabolic regulation. In this study, we evaluated how KPs affected locomotor behavior one control group two treatment groups AjK2). We that AjK1 had a significant dose effect, primarily shortening stride length duration of movement reduce cucumber distance, whereas AjK2 inhibitory effect at same dose. The levels phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), phosphatidylcholine (PC), uridine, glycine, L-serine longitudinal muscle A. treated with differed significantly from those control, which may explain observed changes behavior. Treatment induced aspartate levels. Our results imply more likely than role regulation locomotion.

Neuropeptides in the SALMFamide family serve as muscle relaxants echinoderms and may affect locomotion, motor behavior sea cucumbers involves alternating contraction extension of body wall, which is under control longitudinal muscle. We evaluated effect an L-type neuropeptide (LSA) on locomotory performance Apostichopus japonicus. also investigated metabolites tissue using ultra liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS) to assess potential physiological mechanisms underlying LSA. The hourly distance, cumulative duration number steps moved significantly increased fourth hour after injection with Also, treatment enhanced mean maximum velocity by 9.8% 17.8%, respectively, average stride 12.4%. Levels 27 changed LSA administration, concentration pantothenic acid, arachidonic acid lysophosphatidylethanolamine, altered phosphatidylethanolamine/phosphatidylcholine ratio are that could explain observed locomotor A.

The sea cucumber ( Apostichopus japonicus ) is the main economic species in China and has a significant role aquaculture. Gut microbiome composition closely related to external environments. In this study, we identified effects of seasonal changes on metabolites symbiotic microorganisms intestine A. . We used 16S rRNA sequencing identify different seasons. Intestinal were determined using liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry, which linked intestinal metabolites. Analyzing microbial across results showed that significant, infected by Vibrio easily summer, Stigmasterol sitosterol could affect growth body wall It vital importance for benefit growth, immunity
