The "Zero Hunger" goal is one of the key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) United Nations. Therefore, improvements in crop production have always been a prime objective to meet demands an ever-growing population. In last decade, studies acknowledged role photosynthesis augmentation and enhancing nutrient use efficiency (NUE) improving production. Recently, applications nanobionics given hope with their lucrative properties interact biological system. Nanobionics significantly effective modulating capacity plants. It documented that could assist plants by acting as artificial photosynthetic system improve capacity, electron transfer photosystems, pigment content, enhance absorption light across UV-visible spectrum. Smart nanocarriers, such nanobionics, are capable delivering active ingredient nanocarrier upon receiving external stimuli. This can markedly NUE, reduce wastage, cost effectiveness. Thus, this review emphasizes application for yield two above-mentioned approaches. Major concerns future prospects associated also deliberated concisely.
