Abstract
This
study
provides
an
in-depth
analysis
of
the
chloroplast
genomes
two
Cornus
species,
Cornus
sanguinea
L.
and
sericea
L.,
which
are
significant
both
in
ornamental
horticulture
traditional
medicine.
These
species
were
collected
from
Botanical
Garden
VILAR,
providing
a
unique
geographic
context
for
genetic
examination.
Our
results
indicated
that
plastomes
have
typical
quadripartite
structure
DNA,
with
slight
variations
size
Large
Single
Copy
(LSC)
Small
(SSC)
regions
compared
to
other
species.
The
complete
genome
C.
was
158
244
663
bp,
respectively.
A
total
131
genes,
including
86
protein-coding
37
tRNA
8
rRNA
genes
found.

Kohlrabi
is
an
important
swollen-stem
cabbage
variety
belonging
to
the
Brassicaceae
family.
However,
few
complete
chloroplast
genome
sequences
of
this
genus
have
been
reported.
Here,
a
with
quadripartite
cycle

bp
was
obtained.
A
total

genes
were
identified,
including

protein-coding
genes,
37
transfer
RNA
and
eight
ribosomal
genes.
The

composition
analysis
showed
