Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) play a pivotal role in sustainable agriculture by enhancing nutrient efficiency and reducing the dependence on synthetic fertilizers. Developing these sustainable, effective products requires knowledge of target plant its associated microbial communities production landscape interest. This study focused AMF populations with Tir wheat six main locations Türkiye’s Van Lake Basin. The Erçek-Özalp-Saray region exhibited highest organic matter values. Higher available phosphorous contents were found for Erciş-Patnos Muradiye. density (120 spores/10 g soil) frequency (75%), while lowest (45 was recorded Sand correlated positively spore number negatively silt clay. Based results, elected as best location isolation spores suitable development microbial-based tools cultivation. These results are very important current context climate change, which mandates use low-impact environmental strategies. Further research should explore interactions AMFs other microorganisms to optimize their ecological benefits. However, this provide valuable basis future investigations AMF-based

This research focused on improving the drought tolerance of Dracocephalum moldavica, a plant vulnerable to water stress, by exploring combined effects melatonin spray and mycorrhizal fungus Glomus intraradices inoculation. The experiment was designed as factorial randomized study evaluate plant's morphological, physiological, phytochemical responses under different conditions (100%, 75%, 50% field capacity). findings revealed that combination inoculation significantly improved morphological traits Moldavian balm conditions. Under severe (50% capacity), chlorophyll b levels increased 26.3% 35.5%, respectively, when both treatments were applied. Stress indicators, including electrolyte leakage malondialdehyde content, substantially reduced with simultaneous application symbiosis, indicating decreased cellular damage. Moreover, treatment resulted in highest activities antioxidant enzymes catalase peroxidase, suggesting these bolster oxidative stress defense mechanisms. Additionally, alone led an increase secondary metabolites like phenolic flavonoid compounds, which further amplified treatments. also observed significant alterations essential oil composition plant. Drought α-pinene, 1,8-cineole, borneol, increases even more pronounced Conversely, geraniol geranial treatment. Overall, this demonstrates can effectively enhance moldavica its physiological characteristics biochemical composition.

Fungal communities are critical players in the biogeochemical soil processes of forest ecosystems. However, factors driving their diversity and community assembly still unclear. In present study, five typical vegetation types fungal Liziping Nature Reserve, China, were investigated using ITS sequences. The results show that topsoil is mainly dominated by phyla Ascomycota, Basidiomycota, Mortierellomycota. Although there was no significant difference α (Shannon, Simpson, Pielou evenness indices) among different types, a β (community composition). This study found pH, organic carbon, total nitrogen (TN), phosphorus (TP), nitrogen/total (N/P) ratio main environmental affect communities. Each type has specific co-occurrence network, indicating these structures have specificities complexities. Deciduous evergreen broad-leaved forests as well deciduous mixed showed high modularity average path lengths, highly modular nature without distinct small-scale characteristics. Furthermore, our findings indicate shaped stochastic processes, with diffusion limitation mechanism playing particularly role.
