The challenges of environmental pollution, and nutrient imbalances associated with the use synthetic fertilizers to boost food production from increased plant growth have led paradigm shift organic fertilization. In line this is biochar, an fertilizer wastes agricultural residues. However, quality effectiveness biochar’s agronomic application are a function its properties directly linked process conditions used during production. This research work presents review effect pyrolysis on biochar produced for growth. Specifically, discussed in agriculture, factors affecting growth, as alternative fertilizer, biomass it affects applied product. Another specific topic future perspective towards wide different soil types. Biochar adoption types soils will increase versatility agriculture.

Light is a key factor influencing the growth and quality of crops in plant factories. To explore optimal light for pakchoi production, five formulations were applied to ‘Youguan NO.3’ pakchoi: white LEDs (W; CK); white/red = 4:1 (WR); white/blue (WB); white/red/blue 3:1:1 (WRB); white/green (WG), all with intensity 250 ± 10 µmol·m−2·s−1. The results showed significant variations indices, nutritional quality, enzyme activity, other parameters under different qualities. best observed WRB treatment. Chloroplasts treatment appeared well-developed, clear grana lamellae. thylakoids chloroplast plants densely stacked, large number starch grains detected. contents total sugar, soluble protein, protein nitrogen significantly higher WB, WRB, WR treatments compared CK treatment, along reduction nitrate content. Among treatments, resulted highest levels starch, free amino acids, nitrogen, ascorbic acid (AsA). Enzyme activity assays revealed that activities sucrose phosphate synthetase (SPS), reductase (NR), glutamine (GS), glutamate (GOGAT), dehydrogenase (GDH) Therefore, supplemental red-blue mixed can effectively improve properties grown light. This supplementary lighting strategy provides new way enhance value leafy vegetables
