Abstract Objective We aimed to predict the trend of populist orientations and votes in Italy before during COVID‐19 pandemic. Method Using Consequences (COCO) data set (quota sample Italian adult population), we conducted a 3.5‐year, seven‐wave longitudinal study, with one wave pandemic (June 2019) six waves (April October 2020, April 2021, 2022). Results Two latent growth analyses have shown that period considered degree populism party chosen for vote decreased linearly; this change was positively associated anxiety participants. Background Several governments from African countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), implemented stringent public health measures to curb COVID-19 transmission in early phases pandemic. While these restrictive are believed have contributed lowering case incidence and related mortality DRC, data on population’s knowledge adherence limited. This study aimed assess knowledge, perception, attitudes, practices preventive associated factors among adult residents Matadi, thereby generating evidence for a strategy adjustment as response is transitioning emergency control status. Methods We used population-based cross-sectional conducted October 2021. Consenting participants were enrolled through multi-stage cluster sampling approach administered pre-tested structured questionnaire using mobile application (Epicollect 5). analyzed participants’ STATA 15.1.
