Sustainable agriculture requires cooperative and coordinated action across multiple sectors policy domains. However, farmer-stakeholder behaviors remain pivotal to sustainable food system management in many rural development contexts. We assess farmer pro-environmental behavioral intention through the application of a novel integrated approach combining two dominant psychological theories behavior change: Norm Activation Model (NAM) Theory Planned Behavior (TPB). apply this framework targeted research with potato growers Kerman Province southeastern Iran, using survey data (sample n = 381) analyzed structural equation modeling (SEM). The NAM-TPB model provides insight into both pro-social self-interested motivations for intention, explaining 77% total variance. found that three variables, Awareness Consequence (AC), Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC), Subjective Norms (SN) were strongest indicators intention. recommend therefore agricultural extension state-led education should first emphasize awareness-raising negative environmental impacts current farming practices within training programs, second, improve social learning amongst communities sustained community engagement, thus "stabilizing" norm protection peer networks workers.

Natural forests are the habitat of many plant and animal species main source genetic reserves. In addition to preserving biodiversity, play an important role in livelihood income indigenous communities. But, last few decades, due lack proper management beneficiaries, they have been exposed destruction, so that their protection requires participation all members society, especially local people. Therefore, goal this research was discover determinant factors on intention communities protect Iran. An extended theory planned behavior (TPB) by adding variables "risk perception" (RP) "sense belonging place" (SBP) used as theoretical framework research. This done using questionnaire survey method with help structural equation modeling (SEM). The statistical population study included rural living Arasbaran (located northwest Iran). findings indicated original TPB explains 66.9% variance behavioral intentions locals toward forest protection. three constructs attitude, perceived control (PBC) subjective norms (SN), which had positive effects Most importantly, including RP SBP increases ability model explain 11.8%. study, variable identified most factor, it is suggested policy-makers field increase relation destruction communication media. It also promote safe behaviors these natural areas through developing organizations properly training areas.

In recent years, biodiversity in Iran has been exposed to serious threats due the farmers' unordinary behaviors, including extensive use of chemicals, land-use changes, and destruction natural habitats. The basic concept present research is discover underlying constructs intention conserve at farm level. This adopts Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) uses its extended version, which moral norms environmental concerns have included, as theoretical framework. this study, data collection done by survey method through a questionnaire that analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling technique (SEM). target population consists all farmers from Bavi County Khuzestan province southwest Iran. findings indicated variables, attitude (γ: 0.164 Sig: 0.001), perceived behavioral control 0.136 subjective 0.278 0.292 0.192 significant positive effect on towards protection. addition, it was shown version TPB can improve capacity explain 22%. Drought is one of the most significant and complex climate risks, with profound effects on reducing agricultural production exacerbating poverty food insecurity worldwide in absence effective mitigation measures. Climate assessments indicate that drought will affect majority world regions future, agricultural-dependent communities bearing brunt its impacts. Therefore, managing measures to mitigate crucial this regard. This research aims (1) examine adoption status adaptation strategies (2) identify influential factors affecting Iran. The study population consisted all rural households Kerman Province (southeastern Iran). In order accurately select studied samples, calculation severity was done based Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI). research, an extended version Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), incorporating new variables including trust, self-efficacy, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived risk, resistance use, performance expectancy, utilized as theoretical framework. Data analysis conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). results revealed farmers under conditions were categorized into five classes: Social activities (SA), Physical infrastructure management (PIM), Financial (FIM), Farm (FM), Irrigation water (IWM), Crop (CM). Furthermore, SEM indicated hypothesized relationships context significant, explained 58% variance adaptive behaviors. Lastly, considering trust had effect measures, policymakers field are recommended increase farmers' these by conducting thorough needs identifying strategies. Moreover, organizing appropriate workshops training courses can enhance awareness understanding for mitigating impacts drought.

In this regard, research was carried out two general objectives: (i) identifying factors affecting farmers, and (ii) providing practical policies applying information Iran. A comprehensive Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory used as theoretical framework research, self-efficacy (SE), social norm (SN), perceived trust (PT) were added variables. This conducted structural equation modeling (SEM), a designed questionnaire data-gathering instrument. statistical population includes all Dezful city Khuzestan province (southwest Iran). findings showed that initial TAM explains 0.537 % variance farmers' behavioral intention CIS. three primary constructs included Attitude, Perceived Usefulness (PU), Ease Use (PEOU), which had positive effects on willingness. Floods have significantly affected many regions worldwide, imposing economic, social, and psychological consequences on human societies, in recent decades. Rural communities Iran are particularly vulnerable to floods, without effective risk reduction systems, the impact can be exacerbated. In this context, study aims investigate role of social capital enhancing resilience rural households against floods southwest Iran. The statistical population includes all Shushtar County that experienced at least once. primary tool for data collection was a questionnaire obtained were analyzed using structural equation modeling. examining situation confrontation between different groups people based state resilience, it said men, older with higher income had more deal floods. addition, results revealed components (social networks, solidarity, trust, awareness, participation action) explained 68.1% variance Overall, our findings provide new insights policymakers area, contributing flood impacts promoting safer living conditions flood-prone areas.
