The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects a “human immersion model” (HIM) in improving psychological well-being caregivers patients with acquired brain injury (ABI) during Omicron wave Italy. Fifteen subjects affected by ABI, who attended our intensive neurorehabilitation unit from January March 2022 and their were submitted HIM. This novel approach consisted “real” long-lasting meetings between careers hospital setting (1–72 h meeting per week for 8 weeks). Each ABI caregiver assessed through administration short psychometric battery before starting first session family member at end We found significant changes caregivers’ scores analyzed anxiety, as SAS (p < 0.0007, d = 1.02), burden stress (ZBI-22; p 0.001, 0.65), emotive intelligence (TEIQue-SF; 0.82). Our data suggest that HIM may be useful promote psycho-emotional context critical periods such COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract In recent years, there has been a growing interest in using robots within educational environments due to their potential augment student engagement and motivation. This study proposes an system developed on two multi-modal robots, Kebbi Minibo, interactive (i.e., movable hands) straightforward features. Two questions are posed: (1) What that could effectively improve engagements dyslexia? (2) learning? To this end, comparative is conducted where 64 participate five-day robot-led training program, while another 73 receive traditional teacher-led training. Pre/post questionnaires administered evaluate levels, semi-structured interviews obtain additional insights. findings reveal better suited Kebbi. contrast, without may prefer more which can still promote Multi-modal boost through novelty cognitive load management.
