The environment in Islamic boarding schools makes students feel closer to their peers. When have closeness with peers, they will good emotional attachment and affect self-esteem. This study aims determine the effect of peer-attachment on students' used a correlational quantitative approach. participants were 174 aged 12-19 years from city Palembang, obtained through purposive sampling technique. Data analysis simple linear regression found that affects self-esteem by ∆R2 = 3.96%. Therefore, teachers pesantren authorities must pay attention peer increase among students, because results show significant positive emphasize who peers can more self-assessment.

The present study examined if Emotional Intelligence (EI), resilience, and self-esteem predicted life satisfaction in university students. We computed correlations between the variables, then, we compared differences men women. Finally, a simultaneous multiple regression was performed. sample composed of 2574 students (715 were 1859 women), whose age ranged from 18 to 30 years with mean (M) 20.83 standard deviation (SD) 2.45. instruments used Wong Law Scale (WLEIS), Wagnild Young Resilience (ER-25), Rosenberg Self-Esteem (RSES), Diener Satisfaction Life (SWLS). results indicated that EI, self-esteem, resilience correlated significantly directly life. Regarding sex differences, it found had greater appraisal recognition emotion others, self-regulation emotion. Women expression self self-esteem. showed emotion, use facilitate performance, acceptance as factors accounting for 48% variance. variable best
