Digital Transformation Empowers ESG Performance in the Manufacturing Industry: From ESG to DESG

Digital transformation (DT) is a long-term strategy for economic sustainability, particularly manufacturing-oriented economies. This study proposes digital ESG (DESG) theoretical framework to investigate how DT empowers performance in the manufacturing industry. Using Python, we collected data from Chinese firms 2009 2020. used ordinary least squares method examine relationships among DT, performance, and heterogeneity. The results suggest that big companies growing pay more attention their than others state-owned enterprises are keen on but underperform. Corporate social responsibility in the era of government subsidies: A novel empirical perspective on market competitiveness

Abstract Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is essential for businesses as it builds reputation and stakeholder trust, drives innovation, contributes to welfare. This study evaluates the impact of government support on CSR under various scenarios, using a dataset 98 listed companies from Bangladesh 111 China between 2011 2023. Theoretical links are established by constructing model representing an oligopolistic market privately owned firms.
