Effects of four-week mindfulness training on job pressure, burnout, and coping strategies in sports coaches: A randomised controlled trial DOI Creative Commons

Background This study addresses the gap in evidence-based interventions for work stress, burnout, and coping strategies among sports coaches, which are critical their psychological health performance. Objective aimed to evaluate novel application of a mindfulness training program alleviate enhance coaches. Methods Sixty-one coaches were randomly assigned an experimental (n = 30) control group 31). The completed four-week, twice-weekly 90-min training. Assessments included five facets questionnaire (FFMQ) measures job pressure, strategies, with analyses correlations linear regressions between these factors. Objective This study aims to investigate the changes in physiological performance, mental state and sleep quality during weight reduction phase prior competition male freestyle wrestlers. Methods included 16 wrestlers from Sichuan Province, China. Participants were evaluated at three time points: first day of slow (T1, March 26), rapid (T2, April 26) before (T3, May 3), measurements taken for mood quality.
