In today's sociocultural milieu, characterized by pervasive social media and evolving conceptions of masculinity, this study examines the interplay among loneliness, addiction, self-reliance, life satisfaction across Generations (Gen) X, Y, Z. Employing a comprehensive model, explores addiction as mediator between loneliness satisfaction, with focus on moderating role pivotal masculine trait self-reliance in loneliness-social relationship. Based an online survey 775 Israeli men aged 18-58, findings reveal unique generational patterns. For Gen negatively correlates without mediation or moderation effects. is directly associated positive correlation exists addiction. Notably, moderates link amplifying association at lower levels. Z replicates Y albeit effect. This contributes nuanced insights into literature revealing nature self-reliance-a crucial trait-across generations.
